The 2024–25 season is the 16th season in the history of RB Leipzig, and the club's ninth consecutive season in the Bundesliga. In addition to the domestic league, the club participated in the DFB-Pokal and the UEFA Champions League.
On 30 March 2025, the Leipzig board decided to sack head coach Marco Rose after a run of poor results. Rose’s staff was also relieved of their duties.
